Tony Dehls

Tony E. Dehls, 87, Vincennes, passed away at 10:38 p.m. Wednesday October 23, 2013 at Good Samaritan Hospital.He was born March 6, 1926 in Vincennes, Indiana to Tony and Daisy (Davidson) Dehls.Tony retired after 40 plus years at Public Service Indiana and served in the Navy. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed riding his bike through town.Surviving are his nieces and nephews, Jean Epperson of McMurray, PA, Toni Dehls, David Dehls, Mark Dehls, Susan Coy, Lynn Dehls, Elizabeth Dehls, Sumner Coy, Mason Coy, Melinda Dehls, and Joy Dehls; a brother, Gary Dehls of Pickett, Arkansas; and his step children, Mike Organ, Scott Organ, Diane Goldsboro, all of Vincennes, and Janet Buescher of Freelandville.He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Dehls, who passed away on August 22, 1996; his parents; and his brothers, N.B. Dehls, Merle June Dehls, and Robert Dehls.Memorial graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 28, 2013 at Memorial Park Cemetery.
