Trena Louise Hinkle Woodard went to be with her Lord Friday October 15th, surrounded by her family. Trena was born July 3, 1963 to Jerry and Donna Koenig Hinkle. Trena graduated form South Knox High School and Greenville College and was a long-time employee of the Indiana Division of Family Resources and Affiliated Computer Services of Evansville. Trena was the devoted and proud mother of Sunny Woodard Barmes and Evan Richard Woodard. She is survived by her children Sunny and her husband, Evan and Evan Woodard, parents Jerry and Donna Koenig Hinkle, sister Tammy Yochum and her husband Jay of Vincennes, brothers Trent Hinkle and Troy Hinkle of Vincennes, and Tony Hinkle and his wife Leigh of Indianapolis. Trena was an active member of the Vincennes Free Methodist Church and an avid researcher of family history. She was known by all for her energy and enthusiasm and her love for life. Trena was loved as a mother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and co-worker and will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all who knew her. Friends may visit with the family from 4-8 p.m. Monday, October 17, 2011 at the Free Methodist Church, 1423 N. 4th and after 10 a.m. until the service time on Tuesday. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Don Fasnaugh officiating. Goodwin Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the Vincennes Free Methodist Church and the funds will be used to provide food to the school children in Haiti and support her missionary friends in Greece.
