Vaunda Fischer

Vaunda E. Fischer peacefully completed her journey of faith Dec. 22, 2010. She was born in Augusta, IN on Sept. 17, 1913 to Roscoe and Mable Tooley. She married Raymond H. Fischer, August 4, 1932. Her husband, Raymond; parents Roscoe and Mable Tooley; a brother, Cornelius Tooley; and her son John's companion, Bill Loveless, preceded her.Surviving are her children, Raymond L. (& Joyce) Fischer of Haubstadt, IN, Phillip M. Fischer, Cynthia S. (& Dr. Glenn) Ross, and John L. Fischer, all of Vincennes, IN; a brother, Adam (& Lynn) Tooley of Sebring, FL; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; two nephews and five nieces.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. David Fleck at 11:00 EST at St. John Catholic Church in Vincennes, on Thursday, Dec. 23. The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 on Thursday, at the church. Her final resting place will be by her husband in St. Joseph Cemetery in Princeton.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials may be sent to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 803 Main St. Vincennes, IN 47591; Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2004 N. 2nd St., Vincennes, IN 47591; or the Knox Co.
