Vera M. Johnson, 70, 1730 12th St., Lawrenceville, IL, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2011 at 8:25 a.m. at Good Samaritan Hospital. Born July 3, 1940, she was the daughter of Charles and Florence (Nead) Richardson.Vera had worked as a cook at the Executive Inn. She enjoyed crafts, needlepoint, cross stitching and reading.Survivors include her daughters, Linda Allen of Hazleton and Shirley Johnson of Lawrenceville, IL; son, Harold Johnson and his wife, Michelle of Lawrenceville; brother, Harold Richardson of Indianapolis and a very special caregiver, Ralonda Goodwin.Friends may visit with the family on Monday, June 20, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway St. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. with Rev.
