Vickie Ellerman

Vickie A. Ellerman, 58, passed away at 9:28 pm on September 9, 2018 at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. Vickie was born on January 6, 1960 in Vincennes the daughter of Charles Norman and Stella Genevieve (Willis) Catt. She married Arlen Ellerman on August 26, 1983.Vickie was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church and Director of Nursing for Lodge of the Wabash as well as Director of Nursing Education for the Carlisle Prison. Vickie was a member of the VFW and loved her grandchildren, hummingbirds, shopping and fishing.Survivors include her husband Arlen Ellerman of Vincennes; son, Eli Ellerman and wife Amanda of Bicknell; daughter, Em Ellerman of San Diego, CA; son, Elvin Hendrixson, Jr. of Vincennes; her siblings, Delbert William Catt of Vincennes, Eva Mae Thompson of Vincennes, Priscilla Wissell and her husband Mike of Vincennes, Betty Lucas and her husband Larry of Emmett, ID, Charles Norman Catt, Jr. and his wife Pam of Vincennes, Bruce Catt and his wife Tina of Monroe City, Jeffrey Wade Catt of Bicknell; grandchildren, Jeremiah Russell, Coral Russell, Andi Russell, Kylee Ellerman, Mykenzee Hatfield, Brantlee Ellerman, Paislee Ellerman, Weslee Ellerman; nephew, Cody Catt; nieces Kali Schefke and Deborah Cox. Several other nieces and nephews also survive. Vickie was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Katie Murphy, Teresa Arthur, Leona Scott and brother Wayne Catt.Friends may visit with Vickies family from 3-7 pm on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, IN. Vickies funeral service will be held at 7 pm on Thursday following the visitation at Goodwin Funeral Home with Pastor Nathan Rastl officiating.
