Vickie Palmer

Vickie Lynn (Thomas) Palmer, 54, passed away at 2:41 p.m. on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Vickie was born on August 28, 1957 in Milan, Indiana the daughter of Perry Howard and Juanita Caroline (Davis) Thomas. Vickie was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She loved ceramics, crafts and arts and was a member of the Resident Council at the New Willow Manor Nursing Home. Surviving are three daughters, Candi Williams and her husband Mark of Vincennes; Juanita Dukes and her husband Brad of Vincennes, Trinity Aldoseri and her husband Adel of Manama, Bahrain; grandchildren, Samantha Chestnut, Alisa Chestnut, Sayidah Aldoseri, Luke Williams, Bethany Williams, Taryn Dukes, Tori Dukes; sister, Brenda Elliott and her husband Bobby of Waynesville, OH; brothers, Perry Thomas, II and his wife Lauri of Sullivan, IN; Kerry Thomas and his wife April of Vincennes; and Ed Thomas and his wife Lisa of Robinson, IL. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Vickie was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will take place on 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 5, 2012 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway with Pastor Doug Reed officiating. Friends may visit with Vickie's family from 12:00 until service time on Thursday. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
