Virgil Ferguson

Virgil Leslie Ferguson, 70, passed away peacefully March 30, 2023, at his home. Virgil was born on April 8, 1952, in Evansville, IN. The son of Robert Henry and Mary Lois (Durham) Ferguson. Virgil served his country, retiring from the Air Force after 22 years, going on to serve his community as Athletic Director of North Posey high school from which he retired after 22 years. Mr. Ferguson is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his sister Pamla Ferguson; niece Amy Barnes; great- niece DaYahna (Ben) Lambert; great- nephews Kyeran, Jaylen Barnes and Zaryen Moore, great-great niece Shelby and nephew Aydin Lambert. Friends may visit with Virgil's Family from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday April 3, 2023, at Owensville General Baptist Church 510 W. Brummitt St. Owensville, IN. 47665. Service will begin at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at the church with burial at Owensville cemetery with Pastor Bob Douglas officiating.
