Virginia Byrns

Virginia Mae Byrns, 85, of Owensville, IN went to be with the Lord September 17, 2021. She was born in Franklin, KY August 10, 1936 to the late Felix and Erma Farmer. Virginia was a proud mother and homemaker. She was a member of the Owensville Eastern star, Rebecca Lodge in Friendsville, IL, and First General Baptist Church. Virginia enjoyed to sew, cook, and garden. She loved family functions, cookouts, and spending time with her grandchildren. Virginia loved to spend time with children, looking at beautiful flowers, and listening to her favorite artist, Conway Twitty. She was deeply loved and will be missed by so many. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; siblings John Farmer, Ella Frances Belcher, and Robert Farmer; and grandson Stephen William Byrns. She is survived by her husband William Byrns; children Steve (Jeanette) Byrns, Rebecca Morris, Thomas (Ronda) Byrns, Debra (Neal) Walther, Albert (Kelly) Byrns, Lisa (Charles) Staton, Pam (Kenny) DeHart, and Bonnie (Marvin) Whittler; 14 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren. Holder's Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Byrns. All services will be private. Burial will be at Owensville Cemetery.
