Virginia Durall

Virginia June Durall, 86, of 4966 Old Highway 41N, Vincennes, passed away March 3, 2011 at Gentle Care Nursing Center.She was born August 3, 1924 in Knox County, Indiana to Harry & Jennie (Gilmore) Dukes.June worked as a registered nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital. She also had worked as the Knox County Health Nurse and also for the Welch Community Outreach Center. She was faithful member of the Free Methodist Church. June had a great love of flowers and antiques being a master gardener and herbalist, she loved her family and friends. Surviving is a daughter, Barbara Russell of Danville, IL, a sister, Jennie Lee Kitchell of Vincennes, three grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents,her husband, Finis Durall whom she married on September 1, 1942 and passed away on December 5, 1996. and a sister, Mae Melvin.Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday March 7, 2011 at Free Methodist Church with Rev. Don Fausnaugh officiating. Burial will follow in the Bruceville Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 2-5 Sunday at Goodwin Funeral Home.
