Virginia Jacobs

Virginia J. Jacobs, age 83, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2019, at Good Samaritan Hospital with family at her side.Virginia was born March 21, 1936, in Oaktown. She was the daughter of Hubert Leland and Helen Esther (Weaver) Snapp. Virginia and John F. Jacobs raised three children together.Virginia retired from Huck's in 1997 after 28 years in management and was a member of the Mariah Creek Christian Church.Virginia is survived by three children, Brian (Jamie) Jacobs, Teresa (Mike) Hartzburg, and Kevin (Melinda) Jacobs; her grandchildren, Zachary (Stephanie) Jacobs, Michael (Olivia) Jacobs, Grace Mulkey, Stephanie Robarge, Samuel (Jennifer) Robarge, Chris Jacobs, Charlie (Sandra) Jacobs, Caleb Jacobs, and Corey Jacobs, and eleven great-grandchildren. Virginia's brother, Leland (Pat) Snapp, also survives.Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Violet Jean Early and Jane Hubbard, and her brother, Jerry Snapp.There will be no services per her request. Memorial contributions may be made to Good Samaritan Hospital Hospice.
