Vivian Marie "Dee" Parker, 83, of 102 S. 22nd, Vincennes, passed away at 12:20 a.m. January 13, 2014 at the New Willow Manor.She was born March 7, 1930 to Frank and Goldie (Peach) Howder.Dee owned and managed several rental properties and farm ground and was a member of the First Nazarene Church.Surviving are her daughters, Sandy Ivers, Jackie (Harvey) Hanneken, Tonya (Bill) Beard, Kelly (Mark) Goodrich, Lori (Eric) Newman, all of Vincennes; her grandchildren, John (Liz) Ivers Jr., Betsy (Ryan) Irvine, Annie (Andy) Carmean, Megga Ivers and her fianc, Chris Qualkenbush, Jamie (Sean) Wilkerson, Chris (Jessica) Johnson, Brittaney (Derrick) Plahn, Amanda (Matt) Oakes, Spencer (Lesley) Beard, Jenna Beard, Adam Goodrich, Heath Goodrich, Jacob Goodrich, Mattye Goodrich, Aubri (Coleton) Oexmann, Parker Newman, Caleb Newman, Jax Newman, Luke Newman; 21 great grandchildren; her brothers and sisters, Helen Carson of Vincennes, Lu Brown of Vincennes, Fern Miles of Indianapolis, Esther Stewart of Vincennes, Shirley Gray of Vincennes, and Frank "Bud" Howder of Vincennes; and her lifelong friend, Eddie Fisher. Preceding Dee was her husband, Herman Ray Parker, who died in 1974, a son in law, John Ivers, and two sisters, Katie Holloway, and Dixie Howder.A Celebration of Life will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday January 15, 2014 at the First Nazarene Church with Rev. Michael Taylor officiating. Burial will be private. Visitation will be from 5:00 until the service time Wednesday. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Nazarene Church.
