Walter Riggle

Walter L. Riggle, 75, of 2 Colony Drive, Vincennes, passed away at 8:10 am Tuesday April 21, 2015 at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville.He was born on February 1, 1940 in Bruceville to Donald and Mae (Sharp) Riggle.Walter was a graduate of Bruceville High School in 1958. He was a hard worker and raised his family in Bicknell, Indiana where he owned and operated a service station. He later worked at the Bicknell Minerals Mine and retired from the parts department at Autozone in Vincennes.He was a loyal Christian and one of Jehovah's Witnesses attending the Vincennes Kingdom Hall for over 61 years.Survivors include his children; Tracy Cramer and her husband Dale, and Walter Lee Riggle, Jr. and his wife Debbie, all of Vincennes; his grandchildren, Kaleb Cramer, Kacy Kramer, and Kenna Cramer all of Vincennes; his step-grandchildren, Jordan Hennessy, Leah Hennessy, Tristen Eby, Samantha Ball, and Cierra Ball; his step great grandchildren, Kobe Hennessy, Blair Hennessy, Maveric Eby, and Summer Quarterman.Also surviving is his sister, Donna Shidler and her husband Paul of Vincennes; his brothers, Jim Riggle and his wife Susie of Vincennes, and Marvin Riggle and his wife Betty of West Virginia, along with many nieces and nephews.Preceding him in death was his wife, Deanna (Bright) Riggle, his parents, and one sister, Helen Kirk of Vincennes.Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Friday April 24, 2015 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Roger Cazzell officiating.
