Wilbur "Web" Dick, 93, formerly of Hazelton, IN, passed away on Friday, Apr. 1, at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Oakland City, IN. Born Aug. 28, 1917, in Knox County, he was the son of Thomas & Laura (Mayall) Dick. His parents preceded him, as well as his wife, Chlora (Hedge) Dick, whom he married Oct. 29, 1940; sons Freddie Ray, James, Jerry, and Wilbur Dick; 5 brothers and 1 sister. Surviving is his daughter, Betty Jo (Charles) Wright of Monroe City; sons Robert (Margaret) Dick of Mooresville, IN, Boyd Eugene Dick, Sr. of Washington, IN, and Perry (Evelyn) Dick of Lebanon, OH; foster daughter, Charlotte Samsil of Plant City, FL; daughters - in- law, Connie Dick & Susan Dick; and several grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Web had been a farmer, and also worked at the Purina Feed Mill in Hazelton. He served as town marshall, and was a member of the Oddfellows Lodge. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, on Monday, April 4. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, from 2:00 - 5:00.
