William E. (Bill) Bloebaum passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at the age of 81. He was born in Vincennes, Indiana the son of Donald and Ruth (Ellerman) Bloebaum. He attended St. Peter Lutheran School and graduated from Decker High School and Indiana Business College. He served six years in the Indiana National Guard. He married Rosalie (Rehwald) Bloebaum on July 6, 1968 and she survives. Bill worked in the accounting departments of I&S McDaniel and R.L. Jeffries Trucking Companies, and other companies and later worked as a Walmart Associate for twenty-one years. He was a lifelong member of St. Peter Lutheran Church serving as congregational president, treasurer, elder, and choir member. He enjoyed traveling, singing with the Indiana Barber Shoppers, working outdoors, and spending time with his family. Bill is survived by his wife Rosalie, daughter Jo Ann Lane and her husband J.P. of Vincennes, IN, son Brett Allyn Bloebaum and his wife, Mary of Bloomington, IL, a sister Diana Brown and her husband Terry of Clermont, FL and sister-in-law Billie Bloebaum of Decker, IN. His grandchildren include Jonathan Patrick Lane and wife Brittney, Jeremy William Lane and wife Mykaela, Nora Ann Bloebaum, Jane Marie Bloebaum and great-granddaughter, Halle Elizabeth Crockett. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son, Brian Kent Bloebaum, brothers Dexter, Donald, and Robert Bloebaum, sister-in-law Cathie Bloebaum, and father-in-law and mother-in-law Julius and Nora Rehwald. Visitation for Bill will be 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm EST on Friday, January 21, 2022 at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway St., Vincennes, IN and Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 10:00 am until the hour of service time at 11:30 am EST at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 6990 S. Decker Rd. Vincennes, IN. Bill will be laid to rest in St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is privileged and honored to be entrusted in the care of Bill.
