William (Bill) Bogard, of Louisiana, died September 27, 2013. He was born in Lawrence County Illinois on September 26, 1930 to William Aaron and Elena Bogard. He attended Bridgeport Illinois High School. He was married to Berneice Lane of Decker, Inidana.Bill and his Dad operated the Bogard Machine Shop in Bridgeport after having previously worked at the Lawrenceville Machine Shop. In 1974 he and his wife moved to Clearwater, Florida, where he was employed at Tepro (later became Re-Net) until he retired in 2007 and moved to Shreveport, Louisiana.He was an active member of Curlew Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon, drove the bus in the bus ministry, participated in the prison ministry, and was a youth leader.He is survived by his wife Berneice and son Steven, both of Shreveport; brother David Loren of Chicago; five Grandchildren: Joshua of Palm Harbor, FL; Jeremy of Spanish Fork, UT; Joelle Parris of Holiday, FL; Jonathan of Clearwater, FL; and Jordan of Holiday, FL. He also has seven Great-Grandchildren: Haley, Zackery, and Jaxson of Palm Harbor; Ellie and Emmy of Spanish Fork; and Shaylyn and Braden of Holiday. Additionally he has six nieces and three nephews.He was preceeded in death by his Father Aaron, Mother Elena, Sister Barbara, Brother Paul, and infant son Paul Wayne.A visitation will be from 11AM to 1PM on Friday, October 4, 2013, at the Goodwin Funeral Home in Vincennes, Indiana. A Memorial Service will be held at 1PM with interment in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
