William Catt

William (Bill) Arthur Catt Jr. passed away on Sunday October 24, 2021, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana at 9:13 pm. Bill was the son of William Arthur Catt Sr. and Clara Louise (Swettenam) Catt, who proceeded him in death along with a sister, Gayle Hewitt. Bill was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed coaching his children when they were younger and watching his grandchildren play sports as well. Bill was a member of the Harmony Society and the Moose. In his free time, he liked to golf, hunt, play cards, and watch his favorite teams; IU, the Chicago Bears, and the St. Louis Cardinals. Bill is survived by his wife of 41 years, Theresa (Terri) (Tolliver); his daughter, Leah Barmes and husband Trevor of Denver, Colorado; and son Michael Catt and his wife Margie of Vincennes, Indiana; his grandsons Ry, Ethan, William, John Timothy, and Owen. Visitation for Bill will be held 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm Saturday October 30, 2021, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2004 North 2nd Street, Vincennes Indiana. The funeral service will follow at 2:30 pm. The family requests that memorials be made to the Knox County Humane Society or the Vincennes Lincoln Athletic Booster Club.
