William Collins

William F. Collins, 64, of 906 N 9th, Vincennes, passed away at 7:06 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Good Samaritan Hospital.Born in Vincennes on February 24, 1949, he was the son of Delbert Collins and Anita (Tinkle) Howder.William worked in construction and was an Army Veteran that received the Purple Heart in Vietnam.Surviving are his children, Anita Chambers, Lori Collins, Billy Oliver, Pam Collins, Richard Collins, and Robert Collins; his brothers and sisters, Delbert Collins, Raymond Lemons, Ronny Collins, Carolyn Thompson, and Kay Fleetwood; along with several grandchildren and one great grandchild.He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Rosella Robinson.Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday March 8, 2013 at Goodwin Funeral Home.
