William Edgar Holloway, 83, of Vincennes passed away at 12:23 am Thursday October 22, 2020 at his residence.He was born June 14, 1937 in Vincennes, Indiana to William B. and Mary Lou (Purdue) Holloway.Ed retired from Packaging Corporation after 40 plus years in the maintenance department as an electrician. Ed was an avid golfer, hunter, fisherman, and enjoyed mussel shelling, trapping, and wood working. He enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals and Indiana University basketball and you'd see Ed out in his yard taking care of his trees. Ed's family was extremely important to him as he loved spending time with them.Surviving are his children Cindy Clodfelder and her husband Dave of Vincennes, Paula Ellerman and her husband Dave of Vincennes, Curt Holloway and his wife Brenda of Bruceville, Troy Holloway of Bruceville, Angie Stanley and her husband Bill of Vincennes, Tim Holloway of Bruceville, and Doug Holloway and his wife Kelly of Vincennes; his stepchildren Cecelia McNelly Flowers of Waverly, TN, Jeffrey Hamilton and his wife Misty of Salina, KS; his brothers and sister Shirley Johnson of Henderson, Mary Kay Moore of Vincennes, and Jess Pollock of Rockport.Also surviving are his grandchildren Samantha Madison, Jade Stanley, Katie Stanley, Christopher Stanley, Anna Rudolph, Addison Stanley, Andy Clodfelder, Jeremy Ellerman, Tammy Russell, Ryan Cox, Chance Holloway, Cory Holloway, Trysha Holloway, Josh Holloway, Courtney Holloway, and Melissa Holloway; his great grandchildren Kaitlin Ellerman, Ace Clodfelder, Max Clodfelder, Kylah Ashley, Elijah Lawrence, Jazlynn Cox, Kenna Madison, Noah Madison, Ellarie Weirich, Brantley Burgess, Penelope Stanley, and Nellie Holloway, Kara Keller; his step grandchildren Brad Petelle, Justin Petelle, Joshua Catiller Joey Flowers, David Flowers, Levi Hamilton, Lindsey Hamilton, Cierra Hamilton, and Kristopher Hamilton; step great-grandchildren Sam Petelle, Jackson Petelle, Charlie Petelle, Lilly Petelle, Braxton Catiller, Avery Petelle, Trevor Catiller, Moriah Catiller, Navaeh Hamilton, Jackson Hamilton, Brantley Hamilton, Wyatt Hamilton, Jaiden Clutter, Kaylee Flowers, McKenna Flowers, Raelynn Flowers, Kendri Flowers, and Kylar Flowers.He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife Katie (Howder) Holloway whom he married March 9, 1957 and preceded him on April 12, 1991; his second wife Elsie (Gilbert) Holloway whom he married on April 24, 1993 and preceded on him on June 17, 2020; an infant daughter Tracy Lynn Holloway; his brothers and sisters John Holloway Harold Holloway, Evelyn Woodfork, Cheryl Havens, and Paula Kay Deckard; and great grandchildren Madison Hamilton, Harper Rudolph, and Kaiven Lawrence.Visitation will be from 11:00 am until 2:30 pm Monday, October 26, 2020 at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes followed by a 3:00 pm graveside at Memorial Park Cemetery.
