William Holscher

William Holscher Jr. died with his family at his side on April 10, 2011. Born July 13, 1939 to William and Marquerite Holscher. He married Myra Gartner on July 16, 1960 until her death in 1994. He was a farmer and Fire Chief for the Johnson Township Fire Department for 25 years until he retired. He then became Trustee of Johnson Township for 24 years. He was a member of St. Thomas and Old Cathedral Catholic Church. Survivors include his companion of 8 years, Mary, children, Jeff Holscher and his wife Lesa, Annette Dodd and her husband Brian, Chris Holscher and his wife Laura, Carol Williams and her husband Joe, Dan Holscher and his wife Diane; grandchildren Bonnie Holscher and her fianc Rob Fish, Brittney Holscher and her fianc Adam Glass, Terri Hunter and her husband Marty, Justine Dodd, Todd Holscher, Joe Williams, Kate Holscher, Triston Holscher, step-grandchildren, Coy McGrath and his wife Megan, Ashley Anthony, Shirley Williams, great grandchildren, Zoey Dodd, step great grandchildren, Kaleb, Hannah, Cassidy, Zackary, Jeramy, Kahlyn, sisters, Beverly Jean Nowaskie, Christine Thais and her husband Wayne and brother Maurice Holscher and his wife Barbara. Preceding him in death were his parents, wife, 1 sister and 1 great grandchild, Hank Hunter. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 13, 2010 at Old Cathedral Church with the Rev. John Schipp celebrating. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery.
