William "Bill" E. Smith, 60, 5957 W. Greentree Rd., Vincennes, passed away at 4:03 a.m. on Monday, August 15, 2011 at Lodge of the Wabash. Born May 17, 1951, in Vincennes, he was the son of John A. and Martha (Powers) Smith. Bill was the maintenance supervisor for Knox County Parks and Recreation for twenty-three years at Quabache Trails Park. Survivors include his children, Tina Mills and Billy Smith both of Vincennes and Jimmy Eaton of Robinson, IL; nine grandchildren and sisters, Sue Cutsinger of Vincennes and Martha Jane Smith of Evansville.Graveside services will be held Friday, August 19 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery with Jay Howder officiating.
