William Sparks

William Edgar "Eddie" Sparks, 72, of Vincennes, passed away February 6, 2015, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville, IN.For 25 years, he worked at the Pepsi Bottling Plant. Following that, he was a long haul owner- operator truck driver. He last drove for the United States Postal Service in Gosport, IN. Eddie was a member of the Teamsters.Born May 29, 1942, in French Lick, IN, he was the son of Elwood and Mary Zoe (McKeegan) Sparks. They preceded him, as well as two brothers, and a son-in-law, Roger Deisher.Surviving are his children, Mary Stephens, and her husband, Morris, of Vincennes, and William Sparks, and his wife, Mary, of Ellettsville, IN; a brother, Hershel Sparks, of Ellettsville, IN; six grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, from 6:00 - 8:00, at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, IN.
