William Robert "Bob" Thomas, 80, Vincennes, passed away at 9:30 am Thursday, May 7, 2015 at the New Willow Manor.He was born June 16, 1934 in Gibson County to Elmer and Cora (Shaw) Thomas.Bob retired as a railroad engineer working for the AW&W Railroad. He served his country in the Army and belonged to the Masonic Lodge, Moose, American Legion, and the Shriners.Surviving is his son, Jeff (Suzanne) Thomas of Princeton; his step- children, William (Anne) Dreiman of South Bend, Steven (Rhonda) Dreiman of Monroe City, Edward (Lesa) Dreiman of Vincennes, and Debra (Rick) Stevens of Vincennes; his sisters, Betty (Webb) Snow, Doris June (Marlin) Wells, Sarah Etta (Don) Riley, Barbara Jo ( Charlie) Miller and Connie (Bob) McCleland; his grandchildren, Elyse and Evan Thomas; 11 step-grandchildren, and 15 step-great grandchildren,.He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Marjorie "Marge" (Meier) Dreiman Thomas, whom he married June 6, 1987 and preceded him on January 24, 2013; and his sisters Mary Ann (Phil) Kinnaman, and Marie (Jack) Corn.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm (EDT) Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Tromley officiating. Burial will be in the Wilson Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from Noon (EDT) until the service. Memorial contribution may be made to the American Lung Association.
