William Wall

William L. Wall, of 4849 N. Neal Rd., Bicknell, IN passed away Oct. 24, 2011, at his home.Born March 14, 1915 in Linton, IN, he was the son of George & Eva (Sage) Wall. He was preceded by his parents; a brother, James Wall; a son, Robert Wall; and his wife, Mae (Hill) Wall, whom he married March 15, 1936. Mae passed away on June 11, 1998.A lifelong coalminer, Bill was also a member of the Wheatland Christian Church. He is survived by his daughters, Sandra (Don) McLin of Bicknell, and Kathy August of Coatsville, IN; a brother, George Wall of Columbus, IN; grandchildren, Rob and Angie McLIn, Shelli and Dick DeSchamp, Angela and Paul Richter, Julie and Adam Harbin, Tamy and Steve Cross, and Ryan and Shelly Cooke; and his great-grandchildren, Makenzie McLIn, Jacob McLin, Jaron DeSchamp, Raydon DeSchamp, Brackon DeSchamp, Joshlyn Harbin, Mercedes Harbin, Cole Richter, Jade Richter, Austin Cooke, Anthony Cooke, and Ashlyn Cooke. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 11:00 - 12:00. A funeral service, with Rev. Glenn Archer officiating, will follow at 12:00, Wednesday, Oct. 26, at Goodwin Funeral Home.
