William Wyant

William Wesley (Bill) Wyant, 92, Monroe City, passed away on July 30, 2014 at Bridgepointe Health Campus.Bill was boen January 19, 1919 to William L. and Mary Jane (Chanley) Wyant in Knox County, Indiana.He was a gifted carpenter and a member of the Hamline Chapel United Methodist Church.Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa Alvy Saunders Wyant in 2005.Surviving children with his first wife Imogene F. Eisele Wyant Adams (deceased) include: Donna (Harry D.) Carson of Bloomington, Ronald Wyant of Vincennes, and Debra (Cletus) Lamm of New Palestine . Bill has 5 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 4 step great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Bill was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Patricia,; daughter-in-law, Ann Wyant; and six siblings, Edgar L. Wyant, Melvin F. Wyant, Russell A Wyant, Esther W. Wyant Byrd, Gaylord R. yant, and Dale E. Wyant.Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 1, 2014 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Pastor Pete White officiating. Burial will follow in the Hamline Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from Noon until the service.
