Willie L. Davis, 79, of Patoka, IN, passed away March 25, 2018, at Gibson County General Hospital in Princeton, IN.Willie had worked at Olinger Construction, and been a miner at the Old Ben Coal Mines. He also worked trimming trees. He was a member of Second Baptist Church in Vincennes, IN.Born November 1, 1938, in Ripley, TN, he was the son of Jim and Viola (Burns) Davis. His parents and a son, Anthony Madison, preceded him.Surviving are his children, Willietina L. Meuser of Princeton, IN, Lydia Fox and her husband, Randy, of Indianapolis, IN, Tracy L. Madison of Princeton, IN, Ramona Madison of Princeton, IN, Vicky Brand of Allendale, IL, and Viola N.Hoffman of Princeton, IN; his companion, Dianna Wethington; his grandchildren, DeJuan Roberts, LaVonna Armstrong, Danielle Davis, Donavin Davis, Kinley Madison, Kia Madison, Larrisa Davis, Antony Davis, Tanisha Adams, Peyton Myers, and Jayden Linson; and 10 Great-Grandchildren.Friends may visit with Willie's family from 12:00 - 2:00 EDT on Wednesday at the Gardner-Brockman Funeral Home, 505 Main Street, Vincennes, IN.
