Wilma Wittenmyer

Wilma passed away around 11:00 a.m. PST on Friday, July 20, 2012 in Crescent City, CA. She was born on January 30, 1935 in Vincennes, IN; to Raymond and Esther (Newton) Nightingale, who preceded her in death. Wilma attended Lincoln High School and later received her GED. She graduated from Vincennes University in 1989 with an Associate's Degree in Executive Assistant. She worked for Medical and Surgical Services from 1989 until she retired in 2002. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Betty (Nightingale) Abram and Rose Ann (Nightingale) Johnson; two brothers, Robert Nightingale and John Nightingale; and one son, Donald Clemens. She is survived by three sons, Sam Clemens, Tom Clemens, and Mark Wittenmyer and his wife Melissa; one daughter, Jeannie Clemens; one sister, Diana (Nightingale) Sparr; and six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
